Sports ministry and children
Sarah’s leadership is especially visible through sports ministry and her work with children. Soccer, track and field, and volleyball become trusted entry points for discipleship, encouragement, and consistent care.

Supporting Life Inspiration Ministry in Uganda
All-volunteer. Faith-driven. Focused on real impact.
Friends of LIMU is a U.S.-based nonprofit that exists solely to provide financial support to Life Inspiration Ministry Uganda, a separate organization based in Uganda. That support helps Sarah and Amon continue their work on the ground with children, women, and families.
Sarah and Amon lead Life Inspiration Ministry on the ground in Uganda. Friends of LIMU is the U.S.-based nonprofit built to widen the circle of support around that work and help it stay strong over time.
The People Behind The Ministry
Life Inspiration Ministry is personal long before it is organizational. Sarah and Amon lead on the ground in Uganda with distinct roles that work together in service of children, women, and families facing real need.
Sarah’s leadership is especially visible through sports ministry and her work with children. Soccer, track and field, and volleyball become trusted entry points for discipleship, encouragement, and consistent care.
Amon’s leadership centers on women, vocational skills, and economic empowerment. He helps create practical opportunities that strengthen households and give women dignified ways to support their families.
Sarah and Amon lead the same ministry with different gifts, and that shared leadership is part of what gives Life Inspiration Ministry its strength. Their work is united by a Christ-centered commitment to care for vulnerable children, strengthen women, and come alongside families facing real hardship in Uganda.
Sarah’s role is especially visible through sports ministry and her work with children and young people. Soccer, track and field, and volleyball create natural places for trust to grow, opening doors for discipleship, encouragement, and steady presence with children who need to be known, supported, and reminded that they are not forgotten.
Amon’s role centers on women’s ministry, vocational skills, and economic empowerment. Through practical training and income-generating work, including opportunities for women to create products that can support their households, he helps build pathways toward stability, dignity, and a future marked by both provision and hope.
What giving fuels
Every area of support reflects the same heart: meet real needs, restore dignity, and point people toward lasting hope.
Women are taught hands-on skills like creating handcrafted beaded bags so they can earn income and provide for their families with greater stability. The goal is not simply to give short-term relief, but to create pathways toward dignity, confidence, and self-support. As women learn practical, marketable work, they are also reminded that their lives carry value, purpose, and hope.
Many of the children served come from single-parent or otherwise vulnerable homes, where encouragement and consistency can be hard to find. Sports creates a natural, trusted connection point where kids can be gathered, known, and cared for in a joyful environment. Through coaching, meals, mentorship, and relationship-building, the ministry uses that access point to share the love of Christ in ways that feel personal and lasting.
During Christmas sharing and throughout the year, families receive food, soap, cooking oil, clothing, and other practical support that meets immediate human needs. These moments of care help relieve pressure on households facing deep hardship and remind them they are not forgotten. The ministry approaches these needs with compassion and consistency, offering tangible help alongside prayer, presence, and hope.
LIMU also serves widows, HIV-positive individuals, and orphaned children with care that is both practical and deeply relational. Rather than stopping at charity alone, the ministry seeks to walk with people who are often overlooked and carrying significant burdens. That means meeting urgent needs, speaking hope into difficult circumstances, and pointing each person toward a future grounded in Christ’s love.
